Concordia (kōng-kôr`thyä), city (1991 pop. 116,491), Entre Ríos prov., NE Argentina, a port on the Uruguay River. One of the chief towns in the Argentine Mesopotamia, it exports fruits and cereals and is the distribution center of a farm and stock-raising district. Concordia was founded in 1832.

Concordia 

a city in eastern Argentina, in the province of Entre Riós. Population, 61,900 (1960). Concordia is a port on the right bank of the Uruguay River and a starting point for navigation. It is also a railroad junction. The city has a slaughter-house, refrigeration plants, and vegetable-oil mills.
