parallel computing
Solving a problem with multiple computers or computers made up of multiple processors. It is an umbrella term for a variety of architectures, including symmetric multiprocessing (SMP), clusters of SMP systems, massively parallel processors (MPPs) and grid computing. See SMP, MPP, clustering, pipeline processing, vector processor, hypercube and grid computing.

Mohamed added: "It is not unusual to be running three concurrent events, we have five conference halls and a number of conference suites so we can be flexible on both timing and space.
The current occupancy level is running at one hundred per cent in both 2008 and 2009 and the new venue will certainly ensure that we are able to handle concurrent events during peak periods," she said.
