This was all much easier to take when NASCAR was mostly this Southern abnormality that you could just sort of write off as a bunch of frustrated ex-moonshiners who still thought it was really cool to fly the Confederate flag and drive around in circles. Major Barry can't see that it's a Confederate flag, not the Stars and Stripes of the Union.
