Conference Room
in the USSR, an isolated chamber in which a court, as required by law, arrives at the sentences, decisions, and orders in the case under deliberation. Only the judges constituting the membership of the court in any given case may be in the conference room. The removal of the judges to the conference room and the secrecy of their conference ensure their true independence and subordination only to the law. If the secrecy of the conference room is violated, the court’s sentence, decision, and order are unconditionally annulled. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
