A graduate of Stanford University with a masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Ross is a recognized NSE pioneer who led the development and use of ternary content-addressable memory (TCAMs) in communications systems.
An embedded system block (ESB) within a MegaLAB structure contains 2,048 programmable bits that can be configured to support on-chip memory, including dual-port RAM and ternary content-addressable memory (CAM).
