Continental Air Shares Rally On Revenue Gain Shares of Continental Airlines gained more than 9 percent on Tuesday, a day after it reported a monthly revenue increase that far surpassed expectations.
It's fairly typical for January: A dry, Arctic air mass cruising down from Alaska meets a wet, continental air mass over the Northwest, dropping snow for a few hours when the two overlap.
The city grew with the construction of the adjacent Robins Air Force Base, and its economy is centered around that vast military complex, now one of the largest air force installations in the South and headquarters of the Continental Air Command.
