Coropuna, Nevado 

an extinct volcano in the Cordillera Occidental of the Andes in southwestern Peru. Nevado Coropuna consists of several cones and cupolas. It rises to an altitude of 6,425 m. Its slopes are covered with sparse desert vegetation. Above 5,800 m the slopes are snow-covered year-round.
