Çorum 

a city in Turkey, in central Anatolia. Capital of Çorum Vilayet. Population, 65,000 (1975). Çorum is a highway junction and the commercial center of an agricultural region that produces grains, fruits, and livestock. Industry is represented by food processing and the production of cement.
