Craftsmen's Fair

    0.01 sec.
Craftsmen's Fair
One week in early August
Although craft fairs can be found all over New England during the summer months, the Craftsmen's Fair at Mt. Sunapee Resort in Newbury, N.H., is considered to be the oldest continuously held craft fair, dating back to 1934. The fair features more than 200 craftspeople who sell their work and display their skills through demonstrations in such diverse areas as decoy carving, printmaking, weaving and spinning, basket making, embroidering, pipe making, and blacksmithing. Visitors to the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen's Fair can buy clothing, pottery, leaded glass, lampshades, character dolls, marionettes, jewelry, blown glass, leather goods, and just about any other craft they can imagine. There is also a juried craft exhibit, which is open only to members of the League.

July 28 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The 77th Annual League of NH Craftsmen's Fair, which runs from August 7-15 at the Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury, NH, is a nine-day celebration of fine handcraft.
Sullivan Creative's winning entries included: a consumer catalog for Boston University's summer term program; a direct mail postcard series for the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen Gallery 205; an integrated marketing campaign for NH Open Doors; a print invitation and corresponding landing page for Polaris Direct's corporate anniversary party; a direct and electronic mail campaign for the IBM Cognos Forum; and a YouTube video for the Annual League of New Hampshire Craftsmen's Fair.
Call it, if you will, "smart park"--a farmer's market, a jazz festival, company softball, perhaps a craftsmen's fair.
