Crawford, Frederick C. (Coolidge) (1891– ) corporate executive; born in Watertown, Mass. A Harvard-trained civil engineer, he worked for Thompson Products, Inc., Cleveland, Ohio (1916–59, president after 1933). A leader of the U.S. industrial war effort, he converted production to aircraft during World War II; he formed the conglomerate TRW (1958). He was an outspoken opponent of organized labor.
