Crosby, Caresse (b. Polly Jacob) (1892–1970) publisher, poet; born in New York City. Married to Harry Crosby in 1922, she shared with him the life of an American literary expatriate in Paris. She wrote poetry and collaborated in establishing the publishing imprint of Editions Narcisse and then Black Sun Press, which she continued after his death in 1929.
