Crosby, (Henry Sturgis) Harry (1898–1929) publisher, poet; born in Boston, Mass. An eccentric, flamboyant figure, he was prominent, along with his wife, Caresse Crosby, in Parisian literary and artistic circles during the 1920s until his suicide. He published works of distinguished contemporaries, as well as his own verse and that of his wife; his diaries were published posthumously. How to thank TFD for its existence?
