Crow Wing State Park

Location: 9 miles south of Brainerd on US 371.
Facilities: 59 drive-in campsites (12 with electrical hookups), showers (é), flush toilets (é), canoe campsite, group camp, camper cabin (seasonal), picnic area (é), enclosed picnic shelter (é), hiking trails (18 miles), self-guided trail (0.5 mile), paved bike trails (nearby), ski trails (6 miles), snowmobile trail (6 miles), boat ramp, boat and canoe rental, historic site, welcome center, interpretive exhibits, gift shop.
Activities: Camping, river fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, wildlife observation.
Special Features: Park is located at the confluence of the Crow Wing and Mississippi rivers, and the historic and picturesque "Chippewa Lookout" overlooks the Mississippi. The park also contains a section of the famous Woods Trail, which served ox cart traffic carrying supplies between Saint Paul and the Red River settlements.

Potlatch is currently working with TCF to facilitate purchase of a portion of Potlatch lands to expand Crow Wing State Park.
The recently acquired land and remaining two parcels contain a variety of timber and vegetation, which augment the exceptional prairie landscape and pine and hardwood forests found in Crow Wing State Park.
