Cuivre River State Park Location: 3 miles east of Troy on Highway 47 in Lincoln County. Facilities: 52 basic campsites, 23 electric campsites, 31 campsites with full hookups, 5 walk-in sites, showers, organized group camp, special-use area, 5 basic and 8 electric equestrian campsites, picnic sites, 2 picnic shelters, hiking trails, backpacking trails, equestrian trails, beach, boat ramp, visitor center, exhibits. Activities: Camping, lake and stream fishing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, backpacking, wildlife observation, interpretive programs. Special Features: Park includes two wild areas as well as three natural areas with high-quality ecosystems that feature native prairie, sinkhole ponds, woodlands, and a clear, rock-bottomed stream.
