Cumming, Rose Stuart

Cumming, Rose Stuart (1887–1968) interior decorator; born near Sydney, Australia. Caught by World War I in New York, she opened an antiques and decorating shop in 1921. During a 45-year career, her eclectic, exotically colorful and theatrical designs attracted clients such as Mary Pickford and Marlene Dietrich.
