any ductile corrosion-resistant copper alloy containing up to 40 per cent nickel: used in coins, condenser tubes, turbine blades, etc.

cupronickel [¦kyü·prō′nik·əl]
(metallurgy)
A copper-base alloy with 10-30% nickel and small amounts of manganese and iron; used in industrial and marine installations as condenser and heat-exchanger tubing.
