Curicó 

a city in central Chile, capital of Curicó province. Population, 39,400 (1966). Railroad station. Curicó is the center of an agricultural region. Its industries include wine-making, flour-milling, and other branches of industry engaged in the processing of agricultural raw materials. Hats are also manufactured here.
