There was also a substantial off-line component: One forum was held at the Theatre Anatomicum, a Dutch new-media performance theater once used for experimental gender surgeries on prisoners; a forum on cyberlaw took place at Harvard, resuscitating a case of "cyber-rape," reported when a man was discovered masquerading as a woman in an intimate chat room. Currently, Stanford Law School offers a variety of clinics that litigate in a number of specialized fields, including immigrants' rights, community law, cyberlaw, environmental protection, and educational advocacy. |
