cyclic shift

cyclic shift [′sīk·lik ′shift]
(computer science)
A computer shift in which the digits dropped off at one end of a word are returned at the other end of the word. Also known as circuit shift; circular shift; end-around shift; nonarithmetic shift; ring shift.
