(organic chemistry)
(CH2)3N3(NO2)3A white, crystalline explosive, consisting of hexahydro-trinitro-triazine, and having high sensitivity and brisance; mixed with other explosives or substances. Abbreviated RDX. Also known as cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine.
