In theory, only the person or machine doing the scrambling and the recipient of the cyphertext know how to decrypt or unscramble the data since it will have been encrypted using an agreed-upon set of keys.
com uses a secure Web server allowing a user's browser program to interact via an encrypted session, and supports a secure sockets layer (SSL), 128-bit connection to scramble ordinary text or data into cyphertext to safeguard sensitive information.
A key is a mathematical value that determines how a plain text message is encrypted to produce a cyphertext, and its possession is required to decrypt the cyphertext and recover the original message.
