Cytisine Solution 

a medicinal preparation consisting in a 0.15 percent aqueous solution of the alkaloid cytisine, which is contained in the seeds of such legumes as broom and Thermopsis. Cytisine solution is a reflex stimulant of respiration. It is used intravenously or intramuscularly to treat a weakening of respiration caused, for example, by poisoning or shock. It is also used to determine the rate of blood circulation.
