DCIM

(1) (Digital Camera IMages) A widely used folder name in a digital camera, smartphone or tablet for storing images taken with the device. Sometimes a "photos" folder points to that location. See user interface.

(2) (DataCenter Infrastructure Management) The management of cooling, power and server capacity in a datacenter. DCIM is also involved with the employees who keep the facility running.
