Dep 

a river in Amur Oblast, RSFSR, a left tributary of the Zeia River. It is 348 km long and drains an area of 10,400 sq km. Its source is Lake Ogoron (Ugrin). In its upper reaches the Dep is a mountain river; in its lower reaches it flows slowly through a lowland that is partially swampy. The river is fed mainly by rain. The mean annual flow rate at the mouth is about 90 cu m per second.
