DOS/V
A Japanese version of DOS that supports two-byte-long characters for handling the Kanji character set. It can switch between English and Japanese and is geared for 286s and up with VGA graphics. Backed by IBM Japan and the OADG. In Japan, NEC is the major computer vendor with its PC-9801 series.
