DOS Find

An external command used to search for a particular string of text in a text file. The following example will display the line numbers of the lines that contain c: in the RUNJOB.BAT batch file:

           find "c:" runjob.bat

Find is case sensitive. "C:" will not find "c:". See DOS filters & pipes.
