Location:Off I-75 and SR 48, west of Highway 301.
Facilities:Picnic area, nature trail, restrooms, playground, visitor center, historical exhibits, recreation hall.
Activities:Picnicking, wildlife viewing.
Special Features:Site of the 1835 battle that marked the beginning of the Second Seminole Indian War. Of the 108 soldiers led by Major Francis L Dade, only three survived.
