Dagestanskaia Pravda 

(Dagestan Pravda), the Russian-language republic newspaper of the Dagestan ASSR. Published in Makhachkala six days a week. Dagestanskaia pravda originated from the newspaper Dagestanskii truzhenik (Dagestan Toiler), the first edition of which came out Mar. 9, 1918. The name of the paper has been changed a number of times; it has come out under its present name since 1932. In 1968, on the occasion of its 50th anniversary, the newspaper was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor. Circulation (1971), 85,000 copies.
