Danilov Uplands
located on the left bank of the Volga River, in the Yaroslavl and Vologda oblasts of the RSFSR. Altitude, 150–200 m; highest point, 252 m, is Shuiskaia mountain. Their base is red clays with layers of marls and sands, covered with moraines and integumentary loams. The relief is hilly and gently rolling. There is a developed network of valleys and gullys.
