The section of the datacenter that houses offline disks and tapes. Data library personnel are responsible for cataloging and maintaining the media. See datacenter, tape library and disk library.

The Data Library
Although most data has migrated to online libraries of disks and tapes, some individual reels and cartridges still reside on shelves inside cabinets.
