DataFlex

A relational database management system (DBMS) from Data Access Corporation, Miami, FL (www.dataaccess.com). Introduced in 1981 for the CP/M operating system, DataFlex includes an application development environment with its own 4GL and non-SQL database, but connects to a variety of popular databases. Noted for its speed and ability to handle large databases, DataFlex is the character mode version that runs under Windows Console Mode, Linux and Unix. Visual DataFlex is the Windows version, which includes a visual interface builder.
