On southern border of IA, west of Burlington; established Feb 17, 1843 (prior to statehood) from Van Buren County. Name Origin: For Garrett Davis (1801-72), KY legislator and U.S. senator (1861-72).

    8 million cubic foot, multi-temperature storage facility is located 28 miles north of Salt Lake City in Davis County.
