Day(e), Stephen (c. 1594–1688) printer; born in London, England. He emigrated to New England in 1638, under contract to work for the Reverend Jesse Glover, who, however, died en route. A press was set up in Cambridge, Mass., where Glover's widow settled. Day is believed to have managed it until 1649, when Samuel Green took over. How to thank TFD for its existence?
