A radio navigation aid that provides coverage over a specific section of a long ocean route, using equipment and techniques similar to Decca; a master station and a slave station are located at each end of the route; by comparing the phase difference of a master and its slave, guidance is provided to the right or left of the course; comparison of transmission with those of a high-precision quartz clock provides distance information along the course.
