Deep linking occurs when a company creates a link from its Web site to a Web page on another site but bypasses the site's first page. Marriott selected LetterMark Email because it offers significantly more capability than competing products, including dynamic republishing, downloadable contact information, deep linking into Marriott's corporate Website, tracking, reporting and an easy-to-use Web-based administration system. Once a consumer has chosen a product grouping the products are immediately loaded into a shopping cart and the consumer is sent through a deep linking system to the eTailers site to complete the purchase. |
