Facilities: 227 campsites with electricity, 5 rent-a-camp units, showers, flush toilets, rent-a-campsites, youth group camp, horseman's camp, 25 cottages, 110-room lodge, picnic areas, restaurant, hiking trails (9 miles), bridle trails (14 miles), bike trail (14 miles), bike rentals, fitness center, swimming beach, food concession, marina, boat ramps, boat rentals, fuel dock, 18-hole golf course, miniature golf, playground.
Activities: Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, golf, snowmobiling, ice skating, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, nature programs.
Special Features: This resort park is located in the heart of Ohio's agricultural country. On a long ridge that once overlooked Deer Creek and its valley, researchers have found evidence of an ancient Indian tribe's camp. Burial sites near the camp indicate it was inhabited over a period of time.

The project involves reconstruction of five miles of SR-189 in Provo Canyon from Wildwood no Deer Creek State Park.
DNPS) has been awarded the hospitality and recreation service contract to operate the Deer Creek State Park Resort Complex at Deer Creek State Park in south-central Ohio.
Visitors to Deer Creek State Park will get a chance to make Solar S'mores using the sun's energy, trace their hands for a specially designed "Give the Earth a Hand" quilt, create art with recycled products, plant trees and flowers, learn about endangered species from the Columbus Zoo and sample new organic menus from Deer Creek's executive chef.
