Delaborne prism [del·ə′bȯrn ‚priz·əm]

(optics)

A special compound prism which, when rotated about an axis parallel to the reflecting face and lying in a plane perpendicular to the refracting faces, rotates the image through twice the angle. Also known as Dove prism.
