Delphinus [del′fē·nəs]
(astronomy)
A northern constellation, right ascension 21 hours, declination 10° north. Also known as Dolphin.
(vertebrate zoology)
A genus of cetacean mammals, including the dolphin.

Delphinus 

(“the dolphin”), a constellation of the northern sky. Its three brightest stars have apparent stellar magnitudes of 3.7, 3.8, and 4. The best conditions for observations are in June, July, and August. Delphinus is visible throughout the USSR.

Endemic and migrating groups of Delphinus delphis and Stenella attenuate are found more frequently along the Costa Rican shorelines; however, few strandings of these species have been reported (14).
In 2005, the SuperWasp team found two huge planets this way, the willow world, in the constellation of Andromeda, and a smaller, more dense planet circling a star in the constellation of Delphinus, the dolphin.
