condominiumIn modern property law, individual ownership of one dwelling unit within a multidwelling building. Unit owners have undivided ownership interest in the land and those portions of the building shared in common. This type of ownership has been present in Europe since the end of the Middle Ages; in the U.S. it dates to the latter half of the 19th century and has been popular in crowded urban areas. Their 14-unit detached condo project Roxford Village sold out in a couple of weeks. The most contentious - a group of roughly 150 detached condos planned on nearly 20 acres near the railroad tracks along Soledad Canyon Road, between Langside Avenue and Camp Plenty Road - was approved by a vote of 4-1 after debate about whether the project was in the public's interest. |
