Dickinson College

Dickinson College, at Carlisle, Pa.; coeducational; Methodist; founded 1773 as The Grammar School, chartered and opened as Dickinson College 1783. It was named for John Dickinson Dickinson, John, 1732–1808, American patriot and statesman, b. Talbot co., Md. After studying law in Philadelphia and in London at the Middle Temple, he developed a highly successful practice in Philadelphia.

She graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA in 1940 with a degree in English.
The summer school is based at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and is run by the United States Centre for Talented Youth.
