Strashimirov, Dimitur Todorov
Born Dec. 20, 1868, in Varna; died Mar. 2, 1939, in Sofia. Bulgarian historian, writer, playwright, and publicist. Strashimirov studied history and philology in Bern and worked as a village teacher and a civil servant. His main works deal with the national liberation struggle of the Bulgarian people in the 19th century. Strashimirov’s editions of various historical documents are especially significant.
