Dindigul

Dindigul (dĭn`dĭgĕl), city (1991 pop. 182,477), Tamil Nadu state, S India. It is a railroad junction and a trade center for hides, food grains, coffee, and spices. Industries include cotton milling and handicrafts such as jewelry.
