Dionisii Glushitskii 

Born 1362, near Vologda; died 1437, buried in the Sosnovets Monastery in Vologda Oblast. Russian painter, woodcarver, and writer.

Dionisii Glushitskii was the abbot of several monasteries, which he founded on the bank of the Glushits River in Vologda Region. Attributed to him are the icons As sumption and John the Baptist in the Wilderness (both in the Vologda Oblast Museum of Local Lore) and the icon-portrait Kirill Belozerskii (1424, Tret’iakov Gallery).
