Disciplinary Arrest
a disciplinary penalty. In the USSR disciplinary arrest is provided for by the Disciplinary Regulations of the Armed Forces of the USSR and by a number of other codes concerning the disciplining of persons who are on the same footing with servicemen. It is imposed for a term of up to 15 days; servicemen under disciplinary arrest are, as a rule, kept in a guardhouse. The procedure for issuing an order for disciplinary arrest and for the serving of the term is regulated by the corresponding regulations. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
