| We address these problems in the discussion section of our article published in this edition of Emerging Infectious Diseases; however, we would also like to clarify some points that were misleading in their letter. We will still welcome and give priority to material offering an objective assessment of previous articles because although there is a special discussion section, we still consider the entire journal a discussion forum where any ideas can be aired or criticized (of course, within the MT thematic framework). Each chapter also contains a discussion section with representative examples taken from current state and local laws, rules, and ordinances. |
