Dobropole

Dobropol’e

 

a city (since 1953) in the Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, on the Byk River in the Dnieper Basin. Population, 30,000 (1970). Dobropol’e is the site of a railroad station. Coal is mined, and there are large concentrating mills.
