domain name registrarAn organization that manages Internet domain names. Any person or company that wants a presence on the Internet must register a unique name with one of the more than thousand registrars around the world. In the U.S., registrars such as Network Solutions (www.networksolutions.com) and Go Daddy (www.godaddy.com) are very popular.
