Domar, Evsey D. (David) (1914–  ) economist; born in Lodz, Russia (now Poland). Initially educated in China, he completed his education in the U.S.A. He taught at several universities before accepting a professorship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1958). He is the co-inventor of the "Harrod-Domar model" of dynamic equilibrium in economic growth.
