Dorsen, Norman (1930– ) lawyer, professor; born in New York City. Briefly in private practice (1958–60), he was president of the American Civil Liberties Union (1976–91) and a professor at New York University law school (1961). His many books include Our Endangered Rights (1984) and The Evolving Constitution (1987).
