Driftwood Bay State Marine Park Location: Along the southwest coast of Day Harbor to the east of Resurrection Bay, a 23-mile boat ride from Seward. Facilities: Undeveloped. Fresh water availability is limited to runoff during wet weather. Activities: Fishing, wildlife viewing. Special Features: Driftwood Bay, the largest of the area's marine parks, offers excellent mountain views. This is a popular fair-weather anchorage for recreational boaters and also offers good protection from Day Harbor's often rough seas.
